We know the great impact that our school and all of the activities on offer makes in the lives of our young people. We hope you will support our aim to help everyone succeed.
We very much value your financial support. Please consider giving a regular monthly donation of £5, £10, £20 or a one off gift. We can claim Gift Aid on donations.
How can I help?
You can help by making regular donations from your bank account. Research carried out on a number of parents suggested a donation of £15 or £10 a month.
However we recognise that some can afford more and others less and we would emphasise that all regular donations whether £5 or £25 per month will be gratefully received.
If you are a UK tax payer, please complete the Gift Aid section of the form because donating through Gift Aid means we can reclaim the basic rate of tax on your gift (from HMRC). This means we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give - at no extra cost to you. It won't cost you anything!
Why is it needed?
English Martyrs' School has a tremendous culture of providing activities above and beyond the curriculum, but budgets are increasingly tight and the school's first duty is to provide the day-to-day basics. So the purpose of this charity is to provide the additional funds to make extra things happen.
How does the Trust distribute funds to the school?
Twice each year the trustees ask the teachers and students to make bids for particular projects and grants are made to the school to deliver these activities. The money collected by the Trust cannot be used for general school running costs, the charity is bound in law only to support the activities outlined.
